Chief Executive Officer & Investigator

Lamonte H. De’Pina is the owner and serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Lead Investigator for Metro Good Life LLC. He has a distinguished background in the private law enforcement sector, along with experience in teaching and counseling in both special education and faith-based schools.

Career Milestones & Expertise

Throughout his tenure in private security and public safety, Mr. De’Pina has held several high-level leadership positions, including:

  • Director of Public Safety and Security
  • Special Operations Investigator and Shift Commander
  • Head of Emergency Dispatch Command Center
  • Crisis Manager
  • Community Corrections Officer
  • Special Officer (with powers of arrest)
  • Counterintelligence Officer
  • Security Specialist

His strategic influence extends to board-level leadership, having served on the Board for Security Awareness and as a volunteer in Emergency Disaster Response, Recovery, Training, and Planning. Notably, he has acted as a vital liaison between the public and private sectors of law enforcement, fostering collaboration to enhance community safety. His tactical expertise has also been employed in the protection and security of high-profile U.S. politicians, celebrities, and luxury brands.

His work in Education

Mr. De’Pina has a robust background in education, particularly in working with at-risk youth in special education. He has served in dual capacities as both a teacher and counselor, assisting young individuals from diverse backgrounds who face a range of traumatic experiences and challenging circumstances, including poverty, homelessness, disabilities, substance and sexual abuse, loss, and criminal history.

Mr. De’Pina made it his daily mission to help students succeed and overcome their challenges through effective advocacy, education, counseling, mentoring, and positive reinforcement via behavior management. Many students on his caseload have reported success in their life journeys, with numerous high school graduates and some attending college. 

Most recently, Mr. De'Pina served at a faith-based school as a Physical Education Teacher and basketball coach—a role he considers a personal calling.

Academic & Professional Development

Lamonte H. De’Pina has a diverse educational background that includes technical disciplines, communications, and the humanities, providing him with a unique multidisciplinary perspective.

Early Honors and Foundational Studies

Lamonte began his academic journey as a high school-honor graduate, receiving the Most Improved Student and Student Personal Excellence awards. His early academic success earned him a general studies scholarship applicable to any university of his choice. He went on to attend Roxbury Community College, where he majored in Communications and was competitively selected to serve on the Student Government Association (SGA), demonstrating early leadership and peer advocacy.

Specialized Training & STEM

Furthering his technical expertise, Lamonte was selected for a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) program in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This intensive curriculum focused on:

  • Analytical Problem Solving: Developing data-driven solutions.

  • Critical Thinking: Navigating complex logistical challenges.

  • Innovation: Applying technological advancements to real-world scenarios.

He completed a specialized program in Terrorism Encounter and Counter-Awareness Training through Washington State University online, equipping him with the strategic oversight necessary for high-level security and investigative work.

Additionally, Lamonte graduated from a private police academy, where he gained a solid foundation in law and underwent extensive police training. He was the only graduate in his class to study law twice. The police academy director personally selected him, emphasizing the importance of being prepared and making the right decisions in situations that may require the use of deadly force.

Advanced Studies & Ministry

In addition to his technical training, Lamonte has a strong foundation in the liberal arts and theology. However, he prefers to avoid public debates on politics and religion, emphasizing his commitment to supporting humanity and the rights of all individuals to freedom of religious belief.

University of Massachusetts Boston: Engaged in advanced writing and composition studies.

Harvard University (Online): Successfully completed a program in Christian Theology, focusing on the historical and philosophical foundations of the faith.

Ordination: Building upon his theological studies, he became an ordained minister in 2023, integrating his passion for service with his professional mission.

Mr. De’Pina’s track record in criminal and fraud investigations is distinguished by a 100% resolution rate, with all cases resulting in successful convictions or plea agreements. His advisory services have been highly effective in alleviating the mental and physical health burdens that impact individuals' well-being.

While Lamonte’s background appears impressive and is a source of humility and gratitude for him, he wants to convey that his successes, though highlighted in this profile, were not easily attained. He has personally faced challenges and setbacks, which have informed his ability to help others overcome their own difficulties.

Personal Philosophy & Mission

Lamonte remains humbled by his achievements while remaining transparent about his own journey. Having overcome significant physical and mental obstacles, he operates under the firm belief that the path to success requires putting away differences and working to gether for the betterment of humanity.  The only way is to shred the eagle and be a person of good moral character with unwavering integrity and dedication to wellness both physically and  mentally.

Under Mr. De’Pina’s leadership, the firm’s mission is to serve as a guiding light for those in need. Lamonte prefers not to seek recognition for his acts of kindness, whether through giving, donating, advocacy, or the services he provides. His vision is to grow and expand Metro Good Life to reach and serve more people. He aspires to open physical locations around the world, ensuring access to help, education, advocacy, fair rights, and equal employment opportunities.

He envisions offering free educational scholarships and grants to those who are less fortunate. Metro Good Life is committed to achieving this through the betterment of humanity, charity, and giving back to those in need.
